During the DTS you will grow in intimacy with God, discover identity and purpose, and strengthen your faith by actively revealing God’s love to others.
The school trains you in hearing and obeying God, laying a solid foundation for the rest of your life.

LECTURE PHASE: KNOW GOD
The first 3 months of your DTS will be spent at the YWAM castle in Hurlach, Germany. We will be learning from experienced teachers on foundational discipleship topics like: The Nature and Character of God, Hearing God’s Voice, Identity, Sexuality and Relationships, World View and Missions, and so many more.
The goal of the lecture phase is to gain understanding of biblical that leads to a life transformation. We spend regular time engaging in worship, prayer, and peer discussions. All of this happens in a live-learn environment with people who are all running after the same thing – To know God and make Him known.
GET GOING
OUTREACH: MAKE GOD KNOWN
The second phase of DTS is a 2-month outreach. This phase allows you to put into practice everything you learned. We travel in teams to share the good news of Jesus cross-culturally. Outreach will provide you with an immersive experience of missions as your team serves alongside local churches, existing ministries, and long-term missionaries.
As YWAM Hurlach our focus region is Central Europe and the Balkans. We will be travelling to Bosnia and Slovenia as a part of phase I. Outreach will be located in Central Europe and the Balkan nations.

Application Fee and the Visa & Health Insurance Fees (if necessary) are not refundable. Lecture Fees have to be paid by 23rd September 2025 with the start of the lecture phase.
LANGUAGE
The teachings will be in English, We will have german translation for the first three weeks.
